Perth and Kinross Council runs schools from Perth itself to Crieff, Pitlochry, Blairgowrie, Aberfeldy and Kinross. Pupils return on Tuesday 18 August 2026, after an in-service day on 17 August. The autumn holiday lasts two weeks, from Monday 12 to Friday 23 October.
Two in-service days follow in November, on Thursday 12 and Friday 13. Term runs until Wednesday 23 December. Pupils return on Thursday 7 January 2027.
February brings a short break of three days. Wednesday 10 February is an in-service day, and 11 and 12 February are occasional holidays. The spring holiday runs from Good Friday, 26 March, to Friday 9 April.
Schools close on Monday 3 May for May Day. Friday 28 May 2027 is an in-service day. The session ends on Thursday 1 July 2027.
There are five in-service days in 2026/27. In 2027/28, pupils return on Wednesday 18 August 2027. The February break grows to four days, from Tuesday 15 to Friday 18 February 2028.
