Stirling Council runs the schools in Stirling, Dunblane, Bridge of Allan, Bannockburn, Callander and the Trossachs villages. Pupils return on Wednesday 12 August 2026, after in-service days on 10 and 11 August. There is no September weekend.
Instead, the October holiday lasts two weeks, from Monday 12 to Friday 23 October. Christmas runs from Wednesday 23 December to Monday 4 January 2027. February gives pupils a full week off.
Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 February are in-service days, then 10 to 12 February are local holidays. Good Friday and Easter Monday are holidays in late March. The spring holiday is a separate fortnight, from Monday 5 to Friday 16 April.
Friday 30 April is an in-service day and Monday 3 May is May Day, which gives a four-day weekend. There are five in-service days in 2026/27. The session ends on Friday 25 June 2027.
